Do you need assistance with something in the course, or are you experiencing a technical issue that needs troubleshooting?
We provide many different ways for you to get the support you need. Below is the order in which you should use them:
(1) Course Forum:
The first and best place to turn is the course forum because both Theresa and Todd monitor it regularly. This avenue is where all discussions take place and your quickest response time will occur.
Additionally, posing questions in the forum allows fellow students to contribute to the discussion with their unique perspectives which usually adds tremendous, and sometimes unexpected, value to the answer you receive. This group is a valuable resource that we encourage you to utilize first.
(2) Office Hour Calls
If you post a question in the forum that doesn’t lend itself well to a written answer because it would be better served by live discussion, then Todd will tag it as such and create a discussion in the next office hours call for you, which will be recorded so you can listen to it at your convenience according to your schedule.
Alternatively, you could just attend the office hours live and ask any question you want about the course live on the call. This allows you to coach directly with Todd at no additional cost. Todd always opens each call by asking attendees if they have anything too personal or private to be on the recording, so you can get your question answered on or off the recording, depending on preference. This gives you one on one access to Todd for your questions.
(3) By Email:
If it can’t be handled in the forum or the office hours calls and it’s administrative, then please email Theresa first at support@financialmentor.com
If it can’t be handled in the forum or the office hours calls and it’s content related, then email Todd at todd@financialmentor.com
(4) By Telephone (Emergencies Only):
Finally, and only as a last resort, there is one-on-one telephone support.
I have a hard time imagining the need to call for support, but I wanted to list my number just in case.
It’s really for time-sensitive emergencies only. And of course, there’s nothing time sensitive about designing your wealth plan so we don’t expect you to ever need to use it.
However, if you really need to reach someone by phone then 775-560-2420 is Todd’s direct office line. If Todd is in the office then a brief message will usually result in a reply within 24 hours; however, Todd travels a lot and doesn’t check office phone messages while on the road, so the email addresses above are really a safer bet. There has never been a point in time where either Todd or Theresa wasn’t accessible by email to deliver a prompt response.
Please note that calling Todd’s office phone number for support should be used for emergencies only and only during normal business hours 9-5 M-F Pacific time. The following constitutes an emergency: (space intentionally left blank because there are none)
____________
Overall, Todd and Theresa want to support you in your journey to create a wealth plan that will lead you to financial independence. With that said, there are many students with many questions so it’s critically important that we deliver this support in the most efficient way possible to be fair to all students.
Thus, we ask that you please be mindful of which avenue you choose to use for support and select the one most appropriate for your situation.
Thank you!
